TERMS & CONDITIONS - CRUISING FOR SOME FUN
Purchase of ticket(s) is necessary to enter or win the CRUISING FOR SOME FUN (“sweepstakes”) starts on August 7, 2025 and ends at 7:00pm on September 20, 2025. The sweepstakes shall be subject to these official rules/guidelines, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. This sweepstakes is null and void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law.

The sweepstakes shall be subject to these official rules/guidelines, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. This sweepstakes is null and void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law.
MANDEVILLE FAMILY REUNION and HEROES AT HOME shall henceforth be referred to as “MFR”. The term “Raffle” may be also referred to as “Sweepstakes” hereinafter. Upon completion of the sweepstakes, and after the winner(s) responds to the winning email or phone call notification to claim his/her prize, the winner will be able to book a free cruise by Carnival Cruise Line for between four and 7 sailing days. The cruise must be booked within 1 year of the winning date and only taken from the port of New Orleans, Louisiana. Winner must book with travel agent, Jay Ceravolo, whose number is (504) 615-4046. Then current applicable fuel supplement, plus taxes, fees and port expenses are additional and due from winner at the time of booking. Gratuities are not included and will be added to onboard guest folio. Items of a personal nature (i.e. gift shop, spa, beauty salon, bar charges) are not included. The complimentary cruise may not be sold, traded, refunded or redeemed for cash value or transferred to another person.
The Grand Prize does not include: hotel accommodations, travel insurance, any tax payments based on prize value, ground transportation, any expenses incurred while in port, any meet and greets with artists or other VIP events onboard (unless open to the public), VIP seating or check in, backstage or all access passes, gratuities. The following costs on board are not included: gambling, spa and beauty services, the purchase of alcoholic or carbonated (soda) beverages, the purchase of upgraded paid dining options, shore excursions and babysitting services. The winner is solely responsible for any and all additional costs that may be incurred. Cabins are nontransferable from cruise to cruise, or person to person. Cabins are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. In the unlikely event that the cruise is postponed or canceled, the Contest/Auction winner will be provided a future credit to use on the rescheduled event or on a future Carnival event.
No cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein in MFR’S sole discretion.
Winner must be 21 years of age at time of travel in order to cruise and travel companion(s) must meet the age requirements of Carnival Cruise Line. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and documentation required for cruise, including passport, visa, and/or birth certificate, and must pre-register for the sailing with such information. Please be advised that all U.S. Citizens may be required to carry a Passport for all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda. It is the responsibility of the Winner to confirm any necessary passport(s) and identification needed for cruising. This includes children and infants. Additional restrictions may apply.
Grand prize winner will be notified by email on or about 09/21/2025. It is the winner’s responsibility to respond to the email notification, and to claim and the free cruise by 09/24/2025 as detailed above, otherwise the prize is forfeited. Winner may be announced to all entrants on or about 09/21/2025 via Facebook and/or other social media. Entry is conclusively deemed to be permission by the entrant to use the entrant’s name (first name and last initial, without compensation to the entrant) if the entrant is a winner to publicize the sweepstakes and otherwise, as determined by MFR, unless prohibited by law.
By entering this sweepstakes, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these sweepstakes rules and terms and conditions as well as by any rules specific to this sweepstakes. This is an irrevocable condition of entry. The personal information entrants provide in connection with the sweepstakes may be used for MFR’s internal purposes and to send entrants information about MFR but will not be provided to third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the sweepstakes or as required by law. Any entrant who does not wish MFR to send information to the entrant about its mission should update their email preferences upon initial receipt of any email promotions.
MFR, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, or assigns shall not be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury or any other claims incurred as a result of the usage of the Soulshine at Sea cruise by any recipient. MFR is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with the sweepstakes.
MFR reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate the sweepstakes or to alter the sweepstakes’ rules and conditions at any time without prior notice. MFR is not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this sweepstakes, including without limitation mechanical, human, or production errors, and may modify or cancel this sweepstakes based upon such error at its sole discretion without liability.
Winners will be chosen on September 20, 2025 by drawing with all eligible ticket entries entered, in the presence of a minimum of 3 MFR board or committee members and no less than 2 random witnesses. The odds of winning the promotional prizes depend upon the number of valid entries received and cannot be determined in advance and the results of the determination are indisputable and final.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of the email address or phone number associated with an entry, "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address.
By participating in the sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions or interpretation of Carnival Cruise Line, Tchefuncte River Charters or catering company regarding any of their terms & conditions, which shall be final in all respects. All federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, registration, delivery, shipment and fees are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By receipt of any prize,, winner and any guest of winner agrees to release and hold harmless MFR, Carnival Cruise Line, Tchefuncte River Charters, the Real Deal American Kitchen (or catering company) and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including but not limited to, personal injury, death or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. By participating in this sweepstakes, each participant agrees to accept and be bound by all terms and conditions of Carnival Cruise Line’s ticketing agreement, including all terms and conditions imposed by the cruise line.
Winners agree to follow all rules, health and safety protocol found at the official website or as directed by and of Carnival Cruise Line or Tchefuncte River Charters, as applicable at the time of sailing.
